The Treasurer role is part of the MDC Executive Group (consisting of President, Vice-President, Treasurer, Communications Manager and Partnerships Manager) who meet bi-monthly (via Zoom or in person) to progress strategic actions for the sustainable functioning of MDC.

Melbourne Development Circle is currently looking for Community Building Action Group Volunteers. Please read details about what is involved below and benefits have been listed below each item. No prior knowledge of these activities is required, and activities will be shared among the team. If you are interested to join a wonderful team of volunteers and develop your skills in these areas, please complete this form.


Increase network reach of speakers and lead conversationalists for our flagship Meet-Up and Networking events. 
-> Be in touch with these speakers, get to interact with a broad range of stakeholders from academia, government, and NFP. Increased and personalised network for you to pursue your interests. 

Content Preparation

Prepare content for social media channels and newsletter of our events; write down summaries of events for internal and external use and manage event day content work. 
-> Writing skills; Event management

Report Writing

Assist in researching and writing the Community of Practice Report from our Meet-Ups. 
-> Research; Strategy; Writing

Event Management

Manage Humanitix and facilitate speakers and lead conversationalists on the days of the event. 
-> Event management; and Network building skills
